Earlier today, I was on the phone with my good friend Amber Haines. We were catchin' up a little bit and I was soaking in her southern voice because it reminds me of my years growing up. Amber mentioned something about being the mom of four boys now and I told her I only have one boy, but I feel like my brains are going to fall out of my head... I'm literally losing my mind some days.
I told her she was Superwoman.
She responded with this and I just had to share it.
I'm so not.
I think that wherever you are with kids, you're always at capacity. When I had one kid, I was at capacity. When I had two kids, I was at capacity. Now I'm at capacity at four.
You're where you are with one, like I was.
I think it's the Lord that grows our capacity with each child He blesses us with.
I told her that was such a good word. I needed to hear it. Maybe you did, too.
